Dr. Loomis makes a solemn plea to the board of governors
in Illinois to have his patient, Michael Myers, transferred to a maximum
security psychiatric ward believing that Michael's catatonic state is merely
an act, and that he is a highly potential, dangerous threat. Unfortuantely,
his request is denied, and Michael remains in Smith's Grove Sanitarium.

October 31st
Michael Myers returns to Haddonfield with Dr. Loomis
hot on his trail, but by the time he catches up with Michael, several teenagers
have been murdered by his patient's deadly hands. Dr. Loomis is able
to save the life of Michael's 17 year old sister, Laurie Strode, at the
Doyle residence by shooting Michael six times from his licensed revolver,
but despite the injuries he certainly sustained, Michael survives and continues
on to kill more Haddonfield residents. Laurie is taken to Haddonfield
Memorial Hospital while Loomis and Sheriff Brackett attempt to track down
Michael, and ultimately find him stalking Laurie at the hospital.
Having Michael trapped, Loomis intentionally causes an enormous explosion
using the combination of oxygen and ether. Laurie Strode is taken
away to another hospital while a catatonic Michael is transported to the
Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium. Dr. Loomis also survives the fiery
incident. This night, Michael has killed a dozen people.

relocates to California, and changes her name to Keri Tate.
She takes her son John with her, but not her daughter Jamie who is put

the very few that is aware of what Laurie has done, and where she has gone.
It is unknown what really happened to Jamie's biological father, Jimmy
Lloyd.

While being transferred from the Ridgemont Federal Sanitarium,
Michael reawakens to learn of his 9 year old neice, Jamie Lloyd.
He murders everyone in the ambulance and once again, makes his way back
to Haddonfield.
October 31st
Dr. Loomis learns of Michael's escape, and is irate about
it. He soon makes his way to Haddonfield, encountering Michael on
the way at a gas station which Michael leaves in flames. Loomis hitches
a ride to Haddonfield, but Michael has already begun stalking his next
potential victims. Once in town, Loomis coordinates with the local
police force to get everyone off the streets, and to begin the hunt for
Michael. The night goes on with Michael killing nearly the entire
police force and innocent civilians in an attempt to reach his neice.
Ultimately, Michael is confronted by state authorities and is shot down
into an abandoned mineshaft. Explosives are thrown in and detonate.
Michael is believed to be dead. In the aftermath, Jamie seems to
have inherited Michael's curse as she brutally attacks her foster mother,
and appears to be in a semi-catatonic state.

In actuality, after Michael Myers was shot down by state
authorities, he washed out into the river after falling down the mineshaft.
He eventually flaoted down river, and came into the care of a hermit for
the next twelve months. Though, when Michael reawakens after one
year, he kills the hermit who cared for him, and resumes his pursuit of
Jamie Lloyd who has been committed to the Haddonfield Children's Clinic
ever since she attacked her foster mother one year ago. Shortly after
visiting Jamie at the clinic, Rachel Carruthers becomes one of Michael's
first victims when he arrives back in Haddonfield, and news of this devastates
Jamie. It is soon realized that Jamie has some degree of telepathic
bond with Michael, and she can see where and when he will strike next.
Dr. Loomis pushes Jamie for her to help him find Michael, but the victims
continue to stack up as Michael comes closer and closer to reaching Jamie.
Eventually, Loomis orchestrates a trap inside the old Myers home for Michael,
and the hometown killer gets pounded senseless by Dr. Loomis until the
police arrive to take Michael into custody. Though, a massacre occurs
at the police station as a mysterious Man in Black frees Michael, and abducts
Jamie. Neither Michael nor Jamie are heard from for the next six
years. Very shortly after these events, Haddonfield bans the celebration
of Halloween from the town.

Dr. Loomis has cosmetic surgery to remove the somewhat
unsightly scar tissue upon his face from the inferno he ignited at Haddonfield
Memorial Hospital back on Halloween night, 1978. Kara Strode is fed
up with how badly her father treats her and her illegitimate infant son
Danny, and moves out hoping to make a life for the both of them away from
her family.
[Dr. Loomis mentions his cosmetic
surgery to Dr. Wynn at the start of "Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers
(1995)." Mention is also made of Kara's heavily conflicted past with
her father, and that she only recently moved back in with her family after
several years.]

The Man in Black has Jamie Lloyd impregnated with Michael's
genetic material.
Summer
John Strode inherits Strode Realty from his brother,
and after realizing that no one will take the old Myers home, he moves
his own family into it. Shortly thereafter, Kara Strode resolves
to moving back in with her family, but her father still treats her and
Danny terribly. Though, her mother, Debra Strode, is very sympathetic,
and Kara enrolls in a local college. After six years, Haddonfield
relinquishes the ban on Halloween, but many see this as a bad omen as they
fear the worst may happen.
October 30th
The 15 year old Jamie gives birth to her son, and with
the help of a sympathetic nurse, she is able to escape the facility where
she's been locked up in for the last six years. Michael persues her,
and despite Jamie's call-in pleas for help on the Barry Simms radio show,
she's dismissed as a prank. Shortly thereafter, Michael catches up
with her, and murders his own neice at a farm some number of miles out
of Haddonfield. Meanwhile, the now retired Dr. Sam Loomis is paid
a visit by his longtime colleague Dr. Terrence Wynn at home. Wynn
makes a toast to Loomis' retirement, but also proposes for Sam to take
his place as the head of Smith's Grove. Though, Loomis hears Jamie's
cries for help on the radio, and immediately sets out for Haddonfield.
A survivor of Michael's original massacre, Tommy Doyle, has become obsessed
with Michael Myers, and also hears Jamie's cries on the radio. The
next day, he sets out to investigate.
October 31st
Living across the street from Tommy are the Strodes -
relatives of Laurie's adoptive family. They have recently moved into
the remodeled Myers house, but everyone in the family - besdies the father
- are unaware of its history. Apparently, young Danny Strode
- son of Kara - is being haunted by the image of the Man in Black telling
the child to "kill for him." During his investigation, Tommy finds
Jamie's baby in a bathroom at the bus depot, and makes it a priority to
take the best of care of him. He takes the baby to the hospital for
care, meets Dr. Loomis there, and explains as much as he can before having
to elude hospital security. Dr. Loomis attempts to warn the Strodes,
but Michael is already too close by. Both of Kara Strode's parents
are murdered in their home by Michael. Meanwhile, Tommy names the
baby Stephen, and informs Danny and his mother Kara about his theories
on Michael's origins. He believes that Michael is driven by the power
of Thorn - an ancient rune which plagued Druid families for centuries on
Halloween. Eventually, one child was cursed with the power of Thorn,
and thus, chosen to sacrifice his entire family to benefit the entire clan.
That night, Tommy and Loomis meet at a Halloween carnival in town, but
after discovering the dead body of loud mouthed shock jock Barry Simms,
they move quick to get Jamie's baby and the remaining Strodes to safety.
In the meantime, Michael kills Kara's brother and his girlfriend in the
Myers house. Tommy and Loomis race back to Kara and Danny, but they
are too late as the Man in Black has once again appeared, and reveals himself
to be Dr. Wynn. Kara, Danny, and Stephen are taken to Smith's Grove,
and after awakening from being drugged, Tommy and Dr. Loomis make for Smith's
Grove as well. Wynn's ultimate motives aren't revealed, but some
form of genetic engineering is implied. Whatever the case, Michael
ultimately kills all the doctors, including Wynn, that are in the operating
room where Stephen and Danny were being kept. Tommy eventually injects
Michael with some unmarked chemicals, and he bludgeons Michael into unconsciousness
with a pipe. Tommy, Kara, Danny, and Stephen escape, but Loomis remains
behind because of "some business I have to attend to." Michael abandons
his bloodied mask, and Dr. Loomis is heard screaming in the halls of Smith's
Grove.

October 31st
Keri Tate, the woman formerly known as Laurie Strode,
is living in Summer Glen, California as a teacher at Hillcrest Academy,
and has been trying to deal with her inner demons rather unsuccessfully.
She's become alcoholic, and despite her current romantic relationship with
fellow teacher Will Brennan, she won't allow anyone to get intimate with
her. She's also very protective of her 17 year old son John, and
despite her deepest hopes that her homicidal brother Michael is dead, she
fears that he still stalks in the shadows. Her fears soon prove right
as Michael finds her, and begins to kill off anyone in his path.
Michael attempts to kill, not only Laurie, but her son John. Realizing
that she will never be free of the haunting memories of her brother, Laurie
locks down the entire school, and confronts Michael one-on-one. She
eventually murders Michael, and authorities arrive shortly thereafter.
Though, John, his girlfriend Molly, and security guard Ronny have sustained
injuries, they survive with the help of paramedics. But driven by
her obsession with Michael, and the belief that he is not truly dead, yet,
she hijacks the coroner's van with a bodybagged Michael inside. She
drives it off the road, pins Michael between a tree and the van as she
decapitates him with an axe. Unfortunately, Laurie was unaware that,
back at the school, Michael had crushed the larynx of a paramedic and switched
outfits with him. Laurie unknowingly murdered an innocent man, and
Michael slips away unnoticed. Shortly thereafter, Laurie is committed
to a mental institution after being convicted of killing the paramedic.

Michael Myers appears at the same mental institution

Freddie Harris' Dangertainment has setup a live internet
camera show at the Myers house, and have chosen a group of lucky (or unlucky)
students from Haddonfield University to stay the night in the condemned
home and discover its so-called secrets to earn an exclusive scholarship.
When night comes, these student eventually discover that everything in
the house is fiction as it is simple art direction by Dangertainment for
the show, but that is the least of their worries as Michael Myers has arrived
and begun to kill off everyone in the house. The only survivors are
Freddie Harris and student Sara Moyer who tangle Michael up in electrical
cables inside the garage. The entire Myers estate burns to the ground
as police, firefighters, and paramedics arrive on the scene. Michael's
heavily burned body is placed in a bodybag and taken to the morgue.
Though, when the coroner goes to do her autopsy, she opens the bodybag,
and is shocked when Michael suddenly awakens. As of now, the whereabouts
of Michael Myers are unknown, but he is alive.
