Something More Sinister By: Zach Hennis Open In On: A Shot of Chris James' Mansion The Camera pans back and we see cops, civilians, and the three teens that escaped the mansion. Cut To: Mansion Door All of a sudden the door flies open. Deacon Nash comes stumbling out. All of the cops point their guns at him. Scottie Mahoney It's okay, he's with us. The cops lower their guns. One of the cops walks up to Deacon with a blanket. The cop puts the blanket around Deacon's Shoulders. They start walking towards the squad. Deacon Nash They're all dead. Ashley Wilson hears what Deacon Said. She starts to cry. Ashley Wilson Nooo. Nooo. Why? Scottie and Michelle give her a group hug as she continues crying. The Camera starts to pan out and stops when we can see the whole scene. The cop and squad cars begin to leave. Left in the middle of the scene is Ashley, Scottie, and Michelle still in the group hug. Cut To: Dr. Crane's House-Day SUPERIMPOSE: One Year Later We see Dr. Crane sit down on his chair. The TV is on and running. Newscaster It has been exactly one year since the horrific murders in Smunksville. Dr. Crane What a Hellacious tragedy. Cut To: Int. Smunksville High School-Day We see Ashley at her locker. Scottie rapidly comes up behind her. Scottie Mahoney Ashley. Ashley gets scared and drops all of her books. Ashley Wilson Shit. Scottie starts to help Ashley pick up her books. Scottie Mahoney I'm sorry Ashley. (Pauses) You need to let it go. Ashley Wilson Bullshit. My boyfriend was murdered and one of my friends is in a Sanitarium. Just leave me alone! Michelle Tayata walks up to them. She looks at Ashley. Michelle Tayata What's wrong? Ashley quickly walks away. Michelle Tayata What was that al about? Scottie Sighs. Scottie Mahoney Nothing. Cut To: Int. Green Rose Sanitarium-Day We see the camera cut to many different hallways of the sanitarium. Cut To: Int. Deacon Nash's Room-Day He is sitting in a corner of the room on the ground. He is rocking back and forth mumbling some unknown words. P.O.V. Through Deacon We see Chris James standing in the far corner of the room. P.O.V. Back on Deacon. He has a stunned look on his face. He stands up. Deacon Nash You made me do it. You made me kill him. Deacon starts running towards Chris James as fast as he can. Chris James suddenly disappears and Deacon runs head first into the wall and he breaks his neck. Cut To: Int. Dr. Crane's House-Night Dr. Crane is still sitting in his chair. A news flash comes on the TV Newscaster Earlier this evening a body was found dead inside a room at the Green Rose Sanitarium. The name of this per is Deacon Nash. The police are calling this a suicide. P.O.V. On Dr. Crane He jumps out of his chair Dr. Crane That was no suicide. He puts on his jacket and runs out the door. Cut To: Outside of Green Rose Sanitarium-Night We see a lot of cops walking around and lot of civilians trying to get a look at what's going on. Dr. Crane pulls up in his car. He gets out and walks up to the yellow tape that marks off the crime scene. He shows the officer his badge and Dr. Crane is allowed inside the crime scene. He looks up at the Sanitarium and then he walks inside. Cut To: Inside of Deacon Nash's room. Dr. Crane walks into the room. He begins examining the room and the body. An officer walks up behind him. Officer He committed suicide. Dr. Crane Are you sure about that? Officer Yes. Very Sure. Dr. Crane It wasn't a suicide. Officer Then what was it? Dr. Crane I don't know. Officer Well, it couldn't be homicide. No one could have gotten into the room. Dr. Crane I know that. But officer, somehow, someway, it was homicide. Dr. Crane walks away. The officer has a puzzled look on his face. Cut To: Ext. Ashley Wilson's House-Night Dr. Crane pulls up in his car. He gets out of his car and walks up to the front door of the house. He rings the doorbell. Ashley opens the door. She is crying. She looks up at Dr. Crane. Ashley Wilson Why is this happening? Dr. Crane I don't know, Ashley. Ashley Wilson Please tell me that it was a suicide. Dr. Crane looks down at the ground. Ashley Wilson Oh my God. Dr. Crane looks back up at Ashley. Dr. Crane What? Ashley Wilson He's back, isn't he? Dr. Crane I don't know, I mean I think he is, but I can't be sure. Ashley Wilson We should go see if his mansion is back up. Dr. Crane Yes we should. But what if he's there, who will save us. Ashley Wilson We're not the ones who are going to need saved. Dr. Crane Okay, let's go. Ashley yells at her dad. Ashley Wilson Dad, I'm going out for a while. Dad Okay. Ashley puts on her jacket. Ashley Wilson Well, Let's go. They both get into Dr. Crane's car. Dr. Crane does a U-turn and speeds off. Cut To: Woods-Late Afternoon We see Dr. Crane's car with no one in it on the side of the road. Flash Cut: Deeper into the woods. We see Dr. Crane and Ashley Wilson walking around the area where her and her friends camped on that one tragic night. They head off deeper into the woods. The camera follows them. Ashley Wilson This brings back too many memories. Dr. Crane I can't even imagine. Dr. Crane is looking down at the ground while he is walking. Ashley suddenly stops and has a shocked look on her face. Dr. Crane stops and looks over to Ashley. Dr. Crane Ashley? Ashley, what is it. Ashley Wilson (Pointing) There it is. Dr. Crane Oh my. I haven't seen that house inÉin twenty-five years. On the news it looked to be burned down. Ashley Wilson It was, but now he's back. Ashley runs toward the house. Dr. Crane Ashley, Ashley wait. Dr. Crane runs after her. Ashley reaches the front door. She tries to open it but it's locked. She starts banging on the door and screaming. Ashley Wilson Let me in, unlock the door you bastard! Dr. Crane grabs Ashley by the waist and pulls her back. Ashley Wilson Let me go! Dr. Crane Settle down Ashley, he's not home. Ashley begins crying. Ashley Wilson Why? Why did he have to kill them? Dr. Crane What do you suggest we do now, Ashley? Ashley Wilson We need to get inside that house. Dr. Crane How do we do that? The doors are locked and the windows are barred. Ashley Wilson I don'tÉ Wait, my dad, he has a key to the house from when you guys killed him the first time. Dr. Crane Do you think that he'll give it to us? Ashley Wilson Let's hope so. They start running out of the woods. Cut To: Ext. Ashley Wilson's House-Night Flash Cut To: Int. of House We see Ashley's dad sitting in his chair reading the newspaper. The phone rings. Mr. Wilson puts down his paper, reaches over and grabs the phone. Mr. Wilson Hello? Chris James I want my key back? Mr. Wilson Who is this? Chris James Why, Mr. Wilson, you don't remember? Mr. Wilson Remember what? Chris James It's me, Mr. James. (Sinister Laugh) Mr. Wilson slams the phone down on the hook. He turns back around and we see Chris James standing in front of him. Chris James Give me the key. Mr. Wilson Why? So you can start killing people again. Chris James Oh it's too late for that. If you don't give me the key, then I'll kill your daughter. Mr. Wilson You'll never touch my daughter. Chris James Give me the damn key! Mr. Wilson Never. Mr. Wilson takes off running. He runs up the stairs and into his bedroom. He locks the door behind him. Cut To: Ext. of House We see Dr. Crane's car pulling into the driveway. Cut To: Int. of House-Bedroom Chris James appears behind Mr. Wilson. Chris James Give me the key! Mr. Wilson Nooo! Mr. Wilson starts running towards Chris James and then Mr. Wilson jumps at him. Chris James disappears and Mr. Wilson goes flying through his bedroom window. Cut To: Ext. House-Driveway Dr. Crane and Ashley just got out of the car. Out of nowhere Mr. Wilson falls on top of the car, smashing the top of the car down and shattering all of the windows. Dr. Crane and Ashley fall back frightened. They get up off the ground and see the body. Dr. Crane What theÉ Ashley Wilson Daddy? Daddy? Nooo! Ashley starts crying. Dr. Crane comes over and puts his arm around her. Ashley Wilson I bet the bastards inside. Cut To: Int. House-Bedroom Chris James opens a drawer and pulls out the key to his house. Chris James Ahhh. Finally, I have my house key back. Chris James Disappears. Cut To: Int. House-Downstairs. Dr. Crane and Ashley walk through the front door. Ashley Wilson Are you in here you son of a bitch? Dr. Crane Do you know where your dad kept the key? Ashley Wilson Yeah, upstairs in his bedroom. Dr. Crane and Ashley slowly walk up the stairs. Cut To: Int. Bedroom The door slowly opens and Dr. Crane and Ashley walk in slowly. They see that no one else is in the room. Ashley Wilson It should be in that drawer. Dr. Crane goes over and opens the drawer. He starts looking for it. Dr. Crane It's not here. Ashley Wilson What? Ashley starts looking through the drawer. Dr. Crane He must have found it. Ashley Wilson That's a bad thing right? Dr. Crane Yes it is. He now has full access to his house. Ashley Wilson Didn't he before? I mean he did kill all of my friends in there. Dr. Crane No, what happened last year was different. The house created illusions of Chris James, tricking you kids into believing that it was him who was doing all of the killing. Ashley Wilson Then who killed them? Dr. Crane Deacon killed them. Ashley Wilson What? Dr. Crane The house hypnotized him into doing it. Once he woke up from the trance he still remembered what he did and that's why he went crazy. Ashley Wilson So what are going to do to stop him this time? Dr. Crane Twenty-five years ago, we thought we burned the house down with him inside. He somehow escaped, so we have to make sure that we keep him inside the house until it is completely burned down. Cut To: Int. Scottie Mahoney's House-Bedroom-Night Scottie Mahoney and Michelle Tayata are lying in Scottie's bed. They are making out. They stop making out and Michelle get up off of the bed. She strips down to nothing. Scottie unzips his pants under the covers and slips them off and throws his pants on the floor. Michelle gets back in the bed and Scottie and Michelle start having sex. Cut To: Ext. of House-Night. The Camera is fixed on the window. Chris James walks into view of the camera. He looks up at the window. Cut To: Int. Bedroom Scottie and Michelle are still having sex. Michelle is having a huge orgasm. Suddenly Michelle stops having an orgasm and has a shocked look on her face. Blood starts coming between Scottie and Michelle. When Scottie realizes this, the spear comes up through him and now Scottie and Michelle are dead. Cut To: Shot of Scottie bedroom door. Scottie's mom walks in and sees the dead bodies. She screams as loud as she can. Cut To: Int. Dr. Crane's car. The camera is set so we can see out of the windshield. Dr. Crane and Ashley are on the road that Scottie's house is on. Into view comes Scottie's house. There are tons of cop cars, a fire truck, and a squad. Dr. Crane What's going on there? Ashley pauses and looks at the house harder. Ashley Wilson That's Scottie's house. Dr. Crane speeds up. Cut To: Ext. of Car-Scottie's House Ashley and Dr. Crane get out of the car and go over to the squad just before they put the body bags in. Ashley Wilson Let me see. Paramedic Are you sure miss? Ashley Wilson Let me see the damn body! Paramedic Okay. The paramedic opens the body bag. Ashley looks at the body. She starts to cry. Dr. Crane helps her back to the car. Ashley Wilson Why? Why them? Dr. Crane Ashley, you know who did this. The question is what do you want to do about it? Ashley Wilson We only have one choice. Dr. Crane Yeah. Dr. Crane drives off with Ashley. Cut To: Int. Woods-Outside of Chris James' Mansion. Dr. Crane Are you going to be okay? Ashley Wilson Yeah, I'll be fine. They walk up to the front door. Dr. Crane turns the doorknob Dr. Crane It's unlocked. He opens the door slowly and peaks his head in. He can see nothing. They slowly enter the house. Ashley closes the door behind her. Ashley Wilson What's that smell? Dr. Crane It kind ofÉsmells like kerosene. They walk a little farther. Ashley Wilson He's downstairs. Dr. Crane How do you know that? Ashley Wilson That's where he was last time. They take one more step and fall through a trap door. Ashley slowly gets up holding her head. Ashley looks around for Dr. Crane. A flash of light reveal that Dr. Crane has fallen onto a spike and it has gone through his chest. Ashley sees this. Ashley Wilson Oh no, Dr. Crane. Another flash of light. Chris James appears before Ashley. Ashley looks up at him. Ashley Wilson Why are you doing this? Chris James Because it's fun. (Sinister Laugh) Ashley starts running away from him. She runs through a little opening and a gate slams down behind her blocking her way out. Chris James appears in the center of the room. Chris James It's your time to die. Ashley turns around and sees Chris James. She runs at him and tries to hit him. Chris James grabs her fist and throws her to the ground. Chris James raises his arms like he's trying to draw some power from the house. It doesn't seem to be working. Tommy Sanders This is my house now Chris. Chris and Ashley turn to see Tommy standing in the room. Ashley starts crying in joy. Ashley Wilson TomÉTommy. Tommy raises his hands and four axes that were hanging on the wall fly at Chris and they all hit him. Chris falls to the ground. Chris James What are you doing? What's happening? Tommy Sanders Get out of here Ashley, I'll take care of this. Ashley Wilson I'm not leaving without you. Tommy Sanders I'll be right behind you. Ashley runs toward the gat and it opens for her. Chris tries to get out too but the gate closes before he can get there. Another ax hits Chris and he falls face down on the floor. Tommy Sanders How does it feel Chris, to be beaten at your own game? Tommy pulls out four wooden stakes and a hammer. He nails all four through Chris' back. Tommy pulls out a lighter and throws it on the ground. The house immediately sets on fire. Tommy Sanders It's over Chris. Cut To: Ext. of Mansion-Night We see Ashley run out of the house. The house explodes. Ashley turns back and looks at the house. She begins to cry because she knows that Tommy didn't make it out this time either. The Camera slowly rises up as Ashley walks off into the darkness. The Camera stops when we can see the whole house burning. Fade Out: Roll Ending Credits.
