Part I of the "Rise-Return-Revenge" trilogy of songs.  Probably the lightest of the three songs.  This one is about the lust & possible sex drive held within men that tends to lead them into problems & situations that they can live to regret.  Some fear it, and thus, this song details the struggle between the rational mind & the lustful mind of a man being torn apart between the two.  I guess you can take the "rising of the beast" as a somewhat tongue-in-cheek phrase in regards to the male sex drive, if you catch my meaning.
